RAJAR: Panjab Radio maintains highest listening hours in Q2/23
Panjab Radio continued to lead the way amongst UK Asian radio stations with high average hours per listener, according to RAJAR data for Q2/23.
The station, which also saw an increase in weekly reach, was up from 104,000 to 113,000. Its average hours per listened stayed static at 8.5 over the past two quarters.
Its listening hours were much higher than rivals, Sunrise Radio (London) with 4.5, Lyca Radio with 5.3 and Lyca Gold with 4.3.

“Panjab Radio’s weekly reach is up by 9,000 to 113,000 15+ Adults and an increase in listening hours of 70,000 to 959,000 with our loyal listeners are tuning in for 8.5 hours, longer than any other South Asian London based commercial station. This means Panjab Radio has retained the No.1 position for having the most average hours per listener in the South Asian London commercial radio arena.”
