Raj Shoker awarded ‘Limelight Rising Star’ at PEFA 2023
British-Asian actress Raj Shoker has been awarded at the star-studded Panjabi Entertainment Festival & Awards (PEFA) ceremony in Chandigarh, India.
Attended by a whole host of industry A-listers, the ceremony to celebrate Panjabi film & entertainment, was inaugurated by the government minister for Culture & Tourism, Anmol Gagan Mann.
Shoker was awarded for her debut performance in the movie ‘Jind Mahi’, which released Worldwide in August last year. Her role as ‘Sabreen’, saw her trapped in a love triangle opposite Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria.
The former BritAsia TV presenter is currently in India, to promote her latest movie project titled ‘Mitran Da Naa Chalda’, in which she features alongside Gippy Grewal, Tania and Renu Kaushal. The movie, which has been produced by ZEE Studios, releases worldwide on 8th March 2023.
