Kangana Ranaut is reportedly set to play the lead opposite Raghava Lawrence in the sequel of ‘Chandramukhi’.

The original, which released in 2005, starred Rajinikanth, Prabhu and Jyothika. It was directed by P Vasu.

Ranaut is expected to play a prominent dancer in the king’s court who is known for her dancing skills. Lawrence is likely to play the male lead opposite her.
